Road to the Resurrection provides a guidebook to the facts and circumstances surrounding the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ. The reader will examine the people, places, and timeline of that first Easter. But more than that, the reader will delve into the prophecies of those events, given hundreds of years prior, as well what happened after Christ rose from the dead.
In Mark chapter fourteen, while others failed to understand the meaning of Christ’s words, a woman with an expensive alabaster jar of perfume was listening. She allowed His words to penetrate her mind and to break her heart. That broken heart led to a broken jar, and the fragrance of her worship filled the house.
That is what Easter is about—the love of God. A love that endured pain, ridicule, anguish and death for the sake of all of us.
