Lost Boy: The Documentary Film (DVD)

Lost Boy: The Documentary Film (DVD)

There are a lot of spiritual memoirs out there, but you've never seen one like this. Like many in the 1960s, Greg Laurie was on a search for the meaning of life. Born out of wedlock to an alcoholic mother who married seven times, Greg's life was suddenly changed when he encountered a group of young Christians on his high school campus in Newport Beach, California.

Greg has since authored more than thirty-five books, started what became one of the first mega-churches in the United States (Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, California) as well as a far-reaching ministry (Harvest Crusades) that today touches many who are searching for meaning, just as he once was.

Some notable reviews: Franklin Graham, “Lost Boy will touch your heart in a profound way.” Max Lucado, “I love Greg Laurie’s story so much. His own personal story is a stunning reminder of why our savior came.”

  1. "The life you lived as a child has brought you to where you are now” Review by JT

Greg, your story, Lost Boy is compelling…. I cannot convey how inspired I have been as I searched my own life as a mother … thinking of things I could have done and things I should not have done.

These words you spoke are still resonating in my mind and heart…”The life you lived as a child has brought you to where you are now”. It is time for me to let go of some resentments with my birthmother and with a friend who did me wrong.

I appreciate your truthfulness, directness, and transparency as you tell us what God wants from us.

  • After watching your movie and hearing you speak, I began to cry Review by Monique

I got a chance to see your movie last night. And I could relate to it. I have a son who is 14 and is somewhat of a ”Lost Boy”.

After watching your movie and hearing you speak, I began to cry. It made me realize so much. We think we are the only ones going through whatever were going through, and as a mother we sometimes think our kids are the only ones going through whatever there going through. I just want to thank you for sharing your story, it has spoken to me in so many ways.

I pray that your story will reach many “Lost Boys” and lead them HOME.

It was truly a blessing to see you last night.

  • Pastor Greg Laurie is a perfect example of what to do while we’re here on this earth Review by Diana

Lost Boy, for me, had a bitter-sweet ending. There will always be pain and painful memories while here on earth, in this tent of flesh. The LORD does give beauty for ashes and joy for mourning and nothing compares to His unfailing love. It will never be perfect until we see Him and are with Him for all eternity. So, Pastor Greg Laurie is a perfect example of what to do while we’re here on this earth. And that is to connect with this dying generation through the Gospel of Jesus Christ and through our testimony no matter what we have or haven’t been through. Someone out there needs to hear it.

I once was lost, but now I’m found…was blind, but now I see.
