This is a twenty-three week, deductive lesson series based on the books of Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Solomon. The format is as follows: Day One and Two focuses on the basic information and meaning of the text. Day Three through Five dive deeper into the specific ideas of the text. Day Six focuses on personal application and review.
The theme of this study is, “Gaining wisdom from the writings of Solomon.” The books that we'll examine in this series teach us that gaining God's wisdom will be a life-long pursuit. As we search for wisdom, we must realize that this is ultimately a search for God Himself. The theme to this study is summarized by Proverbs 1:7: " The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction" (NKJV).
